We understand that every child is unique. Our team takes time to get to know each child as an individual - observing interests, strengths and areas where they need extra support. We use this understanding to plan meaningful experiences and, where needed, provide personalised support tailored to each child.

We work closely in partnership with parents and carers, recognising that you know your child best. We value open and honest communication, and we work together to share information, celebrate progress and support development both at preschool and at home.

To support children with additional needs, we use a range of carefully planned approaches and interventions. These include attention based group sessions such as Attention bucket and attention builder, visual supports such as schedules and now and next boards, and the use of transitional objects to help children feel secure during routines and changes. We also provide communication-focused play opportunities, joint attention activities, and small group or individual sessions to support engagement and learning.
